I am an x-artist--‘x’ as in x-treme sports (x-treme bowling, for instance) and generation x. I make projects that use the memetic model of the Swiss Army Knife--at once knife, scissors, corkscrew, and toothpick (and it fits in your pocket). Memetics is a hip generation x theory (brn. England, 1976) which postulates that memes are the smallest unit of cultural information. These memes survive and evolve by spreading from person to person through imitation. I x-imitate memetic structures (read: 'apathetic to, yet enamored by') using my x-artist training, thusly turning silly little memes into bad ass x-memes.
